1. Nature of Membership
The Light Lens Society is an online membership community focused on dialogue, exploration, and reflective practice regarding the Light Lens model. Membership does not constitute certification, training qualification, supervision, or endorsement.
2. Membership Contribution
Membership is granted upon payment of the stated one-time founding contribution of £300.
This contribution supports:
- facilitation and stewardship of the Society,
- digital infrastructure,
- development of shared resources,
- subsidised access for participants where appropriate.
Membership contributions are non-refundable unless required by applicable consumer law.
3. Participation
Participation in monthly gatherings is voluntary. Members agree to engage respectfully and maintain confidentiality regarding personal stories shared within the Society. The Society is not a clinical supervision space and should not be used to discuss identifiable safeguarding cases.
4. Safeguarding Responsibility
Members remain solely responsible for safeguarding decisions and legal compliance within their professional or personal context. Light Lens materials must not replace established safeguarding or referral procedures.
5. Intellectual Property
Light Lens materials, language, and visual representations remain the intellectual property of Angharad Davies.
Using Light Lens Light Lens is designed to be used widely, simply, and meaningfully in the lives of children.
You are warmly encouraged to use the framework:
- in your home, classroom, or community setting;
- in your professional work with children;
- in conversations that support children’s understanding of themselves.
However, to protect the integrity and intention of the work:
- Light Lens may not be reproduced, repackaged, or sold as part of a standalone programme, product, or training without permission.
- It may not be presented as your own original framework.
- Any wider organisational or commercial use should be discussed and agreed in advance.
This is not about restriction, but about ensuring the work remains consistent, accessible, and true to its purpose as it grows.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Angharad Davies shall not be liable for any direct or indirect consequences arising from the application or interpretation of Light Lens materials. Members assume responsibility for their professional judgment.

Terms may be updated periodically. Members will be notified of substantial changes.
